The leading portal for free to play MMO games, MMO Worlds, today released the Top MMORPG 2012 List. The games on the list are the most recommended ones chosen based on player feedback and reviews by blog’s staff.
“For us, we think a lot of great MMORPGs are out there and it’s a joy to try them out one by one but for those players who don’t have the time to try out dozens of free MMO games, we chose the best MMORPGs of 2012 for them. We have two categories, client-based and browser-based MMOGs, ” said Darius Johnson, chief editor of MMO Worlds. “We didn’t include subscription games that are pay to play because our website is about f2p titles only.”
According to Johnson, while there are currently more than 20 MMORPGs on the list, even more will be added as new titles are launched, citing some highly anticipated upcoming or open beta games like Blade and Soul, ArcheAge, Guild Wars 2, the Neverwinter MMO, Wizardy Online and Sevencore as examples of some MMOGs that are expected to be released later in the year.
